Typically it is customary to bring a gift to an engagement party; however, finding one can sometimes be quite difficult – especially if the couple hasn’t registered yet.  I recently attended an engagement party about two months ago and spend quite a bit of time scouring the internet for possible gift ideas.  Here is what I came up with. I tried to look for gifts that are celebratory and therefore, appropriate for the occasion, as well as fairly neutral and universally appealing.  Unless you know the couple really well, getting a bold, unique or very specific gift could be fairly risky.

Also, while on the topic of engagement parties, tomorrow my parents are throwing Alex and me an engagement party, which will consist of brunch at a fantastic restaurant up by my parents with our closest friends and family in attendance. We are both pretty excited about it!
